The word Jamahal means ‘precious time’ in Sanskrit and I have to say that the time we stayed at the resort was really precious.
This luxurious boutique resort was established in 2004 and specializes in personalized service and privacy. It is truly a heaven for those wanting a luxurious, secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Staying at the Jamahal is a truly unforgettable experience, especially for couples celebrating something special. It was so beautiful and romantic!
JAMAHAL PRIVATE RESORT AND SPA: THE VILLA
We were welcomed with a delicious cold drink and then we continued to our villa. I couldn’t believe the size of our villa! The master villa we stayed in has 850m2!
This villa is called Frangipani. Its name comes from a name of my favourite tree with beautiful flowers which smell so good. There was one Frangipani tree right in the middle of the villa. Loved all the special touches. There were little frangipani blossoms tucked everywhere.
Beyond the door was our own private paradise. Each villa is nestled within a lush, tropical oasis.
The villa has two separate villas with own facilities sharing an open space kitchen with a dining room and a huge pool! Our bathroom was a size of the bedroom if not bigger. I was shocked and super happy.
The next day we moved to a smaller villa (still pretty huge) with a pool, amazing garden with a fire pit and torches and own massage room.
JAMAHAL PRIVATE RESORT AND SPA: THE FOOD
When we arrived, we were surprised we didn’t find any restaurant at the resort. It is because all meals are served in the privacy of your villa, so you can enjoy a romantic breakfast, lunch or dinner with your beloved. All meals are freshly prepared on site, using only the best ingredients. We loved their food and its presentation. The biggest plus was the butlers who were always smiling, super friendly and funny.
Every day they gave us a form to choose what do we want for breakfast. So many delicious choices. During our three-day stay, we tried to taste it all. Everything was so good! I really loved the morning juice boosters! I wish every morning would start like this.
One evening, the resort organized a romantic candlelit dinner for us with our private butler. We were watching the sunset at the beach that evening so when we returned to our villa we were amazed. Candles and flower petals were everywhere. The butler had also lit torches that surrounded our private garden and the central fire pit. This is every women’s dream!
JAMAHAL PRIVATE RESORT AND SPA: THE FACILITIES
The last day we booked ourselves for a massage. Since we had our own massage room in the villa we could decide whether we wanted to have it in the spa or in the villa. I was curious to see their spa, so we decided to go there.
First, our masseuses welcomed us and offered us a drink. Then they let us choose from three different oil scents. After that, I was in heaven. I love good massages and this one was amazing!
JAMAHAL PRIVATE RESORT AND SPA: LOCATION
The resort is located in Jimbaran, just 15 minutes from the international airport. It’s only 400 meters to the beautiful beach of Jimbaran Bay where you can enjoy sunset cocktails at the Jamahal private beach club. You can walk there or use their shuttle that runs all day that will take back and forth.
At the beach, they have a beach club with complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and water. They also have a snack bar where you can purchase drinks and snacks from the daily menu.
While the hotel is situated on the main street, once you step through the huge massive wooden Jamahal gates you find yourself in a peaceful, quiet and green environment.
Altogether we had an unforgettable stay at Jamahal Private Resort & Spa! The staff at the Jamahal went above and beyond to treat us like royalty. If you are looking to surprise your loved one or celebrate something special, like a honeymoon or something else, the Jamahal is the place to be!
If you are looking for an unforgettable stay in Bali, definitely put Jamahal Private Resort & Spa on your bucket list.
