WHO IS BEHIND MILES & SMILES AWAY
Miles & Smiles Away is a travel blog of one Czech girl from Liberec. The blog was founded in the fall of 2014 by Jana Vitoušková, who lived that time in the Maldives. During that year she visited quite a lot of luxury resorts which was the reason to start this blog. In December 2014 she said goodbye to the Maldives and moved to Penang island in Malaysia. The blog is currently focused on hospitality in Asia and also interesting destinations that she had chance to visit. Jana is crazy about photography and because of that, the main part of her posts are her own photos.
Interest in her blog Miles & Smiles Away is still increasing with the help of social media. At the end of 2014 she was reached by a Czech lifestyle magazine MontyRich to cooperate with them. Since January 2015 she is contributing on articles about travelling and hospitality for both its website and printed magazine.
In May 2015 she became a chief-editor of another travel magazine Luxusniplaze.cz which is a magazine from House Media Group that has more magazines and covering different fields – men lifestyle, cars, home, women lifestyle, food etc. and has more than 45 000 visits per month.
